Hurricanes boast 2 competitive Senior teams and one social team (The Mummy Canes) who all train each Saturday morning at The Sevens Stadium.  The 1st team has been consistently in 1st Division in the premier leagues with the 2nd team moving between divisions.  Growth and popularity of the Hurricanes training and club has demanded a need for a social team as well to compete in the social leagues.  Depending on rankings, talented youth players including those who make the UAE squads, may guest or play for Senior teams.
Senior teams have the opportunity to compete at the annual Dubai 7’s tournament alongside the Rugby tournament, where they have claimed 3 Gulf champion trophies, 1 Open Championship trophy and 1 runners up trophy in past tournaments.
Trials are held towards the end of the season and again informally at the start of the season to welcome anyone who wishes to join.
League matches are usually Tuesday for Premier and Monday or Wednesday for Social.
